About the blog!
When I first made the decision to start this blog, I wasn’t entirely sure of the direction I wanted to take it. So, when I picked the name, there was a certain level of intention that came with the word ‘whatever’. As I’ve continued to develop this idea, I’ve honed in on the overarching category, lifestyle. This gives me the freedom to continue to write a range of things while maintaining a theme that allows my pieces to fit together. With that said, you may be wondering what specific kinds of posts that you’ll find here; I like to write in two categories: journaling and miscellaneous. This blog is a passion project, so to avoid creative burnout, I don’t hold myself to a specific posting schedule in any category, but if you find yourself looking for extra content or tidbits, the ‘Girl, Whatever!’ instagram should have those extras a little more consistently.
About me!
Hello! Here are some undisputed facts about me: I’m originally from Nashville, Tennessee, but am currently based in Oregon. I have a lot of big feelings and big opinions and an overall lack of filter, the combination of which can often result in me being both loud and wrong! Like most things in my life, my writing is casual because I believe in spontaneity and the freeing feeling of not being tied to one defining characteristic. Many of my friends would describe me as Type B, chronically late, and sensitive. My favorite color at the exact moment that I am writing this is pink, which is terribly different from my previous favorite color, red–please take note of my sarcastic tone here–, and for anyone who may have doubts about my love of pink, take solace in knowing that my hair and lash extensions are both hot pink right now. Although I feel extremely adverse to routine, I have been told that I can be very particular and stubborn. However, despite my apparent stubborn nature, I believe in consistently striving for growth and positive change. My current goal for myself is to be better about letting things go. Some might even suggest that I’m trying to get better at saying…
